The first mirrors were created by the Turks in the year 6000 B.C. They were simple vessels with water that showed the face as it was. Little by little these devices evolved into what today we call a mirror.
It was in the 19th century that glass was covered with silver to be able to reflect the images in front of it, to show reality as it is.
The mirror is always there, shiny, silver, waiting to reflect the image of the person who seeks neither lies nor deceit, and then to once again remain alone and without light.
Fashion changes according to tastes, situations and the moments society is going through: “Fashion is the mirror of society”. It is what unconsciously reflects who we are and how we are in each moment. Fashion reveals us, makes us transparent, makes us feel like a mirror.
In the collection F/W 17-18 “REFLECTIONS”, garments take on the role of the mirror.
